The Ford Digital Library

Post by TRDxB2 » Sat Mar 26, 2022 12:31 am

The FORD Digital Library consists of many original Ford Model T manuals, publications, part lists, literature, and related material. There are over 650 pieces of printed documentation that has been donated by the folks that are determined to see that a broad level of people have access to this information.

All material is stored as PDF files so it both visible on line and can be downloaded to ones computer. While it is available for personal use it can not be resold. Every document is key word searchable... once you view the desired document click on the magnifying glass icon in the top left corner and then enter in the desired search word
Here is the LINK TO IT http://www.cimorelli.com/mtdl/default.htm
Once you are on the CIMORELLI website you can click on the Menu items on the left (or a picture of the respective document displayed) and drill down to what your looking for. The following is an example

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Wow mind reader! I literally was thinking about that site even before seeing this post and opening it. I lost a lot of saved links when my computer crashed, that was one of them.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I've found that the search function doesn't work on my downloaded Service Bulletins, so if you're doing a search you need to do it on the Cimorelli website.

I am a happy customer. I used the site to find window patterns and have the local glass shop make my new windshield.
The inevitable often happens.

For those who don't know, Tony Cimorelli was the former webmaster for the MTFCI. He spent many months with the support of his lovely wife, Dorothy, to put together this volume of information. He was a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant who worked as webmaster for a federal agency in DC before retiring again. Below is the last statement on the website.

"The Model T Ford Digital Library was created by Tony Cimorelli as a research project and a portion of the library was donated to several Model T clubs. Tony receives no remuneration or kickbacks, nor does he sell these publications. They are available free in an effort to allow enjoyment by all. Semper Fi!'

Thanks Tony and Dorothy for all your generous assistance and the support to the hobby,

Dom

When I first started working with Bruce I contacted Tony for a couple of things.

Dom, notice all the Italian names here, Cimorelli, Brancaccio, Denio .... ha ha

Chris,

Thank you for the great job you do to keep all of us connected. BTW do you know why Italians are such good cooks?

We only have to boil water to make a pasta meal. :-)

Have a great day,

Dom
