How Tall is a 26-27 Touring with top Raised?

Post by Fozz71 » Mon Apr 04, 2022 9:52 am

Planning on getting a '26 T and using an enclosed trailer, was kinda hoping to keep the top raised?

Can anyone measure how tall the car is with the roof raised?

Thanks,
Jim

Mine is roughly 77 inches tall. It lives in a garage with an 81 inch door height.

Mine is about 74 inches. As you can see, that can vary depending on who or how the top was installed.

Model Ts got shorter with the passing years. My '13 stands 20h-3" at the withers. (83", or 2.11m).

That is tall Rich! You must have a "draft" T.

You can always deflate the tires and sneak the car under the open garage door

Trailer is a little different than a garage the car tries to angle up a bit when coming in. My Roadster fits nicely in a trailer with an 80" opening on my trailer with no issues and I am running 21 x 5.25 (a smidge taller than stock) tires.
Do it right or do it over, your choice. Drive like everyone is out to get you!
