Size and Threads of Ruckstell Shitft Knob

Post by JBog » Mon Apr 18, 2022 12:13 pm

I'd like to get some vintage shift knobs for my ruckstell shifter. Does anyone know the size, if it's a standard size, or not?

I think they're 5/8 X 24, but I'm not positive. I'm sure someone on here will know for certain.

3/8"-24, not 5/8"

Easy to find. Just find a bolt which will thread into the knob and go to a hardware store and find out what size fits. If you are looking at vintage knobs, take the bolt with you to try it on.

does anyone have a picture of a vintage knob that I could compare to my collection of knobs?
I don't know which knob to put on my 15 when I am feeling vintage.
Actually at 83 I guess that I am already vintage.
