Breeze Carburetor

Post by jaybee47 » Sun Jun 05, 2022 9:45 pm

Would appreciate any help and information regarding this carburetor.
1) Choke plate?....located under intake mouth, one side is solid, other side is open, can be swung side to side....is this the choke?
2) Plunger that is spring loaded....what does this do?
3) Dial, can be rotated clockwise and counterclockwise, does this control the fuel/air mixture?
3) Dial, is clockwise lean, is counterclockwise rich?
4) What is this and what does it do?

Hey Jay,

#2 is a flooding push down on the float to give more wet fuel for starting.

#3 is a fuel mixture.

#4 is a poppet valve, some were used for a throttle but since you have one seen close to the intake mount, they used this as an anti-backfire.

Hope this Helps,

Hank

This article goves some information. I picked up one of the horizontal ones a few years ago but I've got no idea what it's from.
