Trouble Shooting the Model T Ford Charging System

Post by Ron Patterson » Tue Jun 14, 2022 9:39 am

I found it!
Several years ago Bob Cascisa and I were creating a complete and correct set of Model T wiring diagrams. I also prepared an article that addressed those pesky five charge/discharge wires that are commonly found incorrectly terminated resulting in incorrect charging/discharging Ammeter readings
A few people recently contacted me and asked for help and I had forgotten about this article.
Here it is:

Thank you Ron. This diagram is correct. However, when you are checking your car you also need follow each wire on your car to check both ends of each wire are at the correct terminal because, the existing wires on the car might not be color coded like the original. That is, the previous owner might have used different color wires than original.
