Post by George N Lake Ozark » Fri Sep 16, 2022 9:35 pm

After leaving my place in LakeOzark he headed for Hwy 54, when he got to the roundabout it was acting up so he pulled over and replaced #1 plug with a new one we got at O’Rielly’s had some improvements. When he got to OsageBeach decided to replace the other three plugs. Car was running much more better.
He went down to Lebanon and picked up old Route 66 has gone to Springfield and is camping tonight in Avilla,Mo near Joplin. If everything goes well he’ll be home tomorrow evening. And so...
“And that’s the way it is.” Cronkite.

George C, Thank you, and just a short comment from me.

For our very wonderful Steve J, who just happens to be so steeped in radio and early television history, I really like the famous Cronkite closing.

Bit of trivia to start your day. According to Google, "Cronkite" is originally a Dutch name. It comes from the old Dutch "krankheyt" (or modern German "krankheit") meaning "sickness" or "disease.")
