Model T Haven

Post by 1925 Touring » Tue Sep 20, 2022 10:45 am

So I have been looking at the old Model T Haven online, and found conflicting messages. Some say that it is closed permanently, and the website says that it is relocating to Florida. I hope that the place keeps going, with all the body parts, among other things, you could find something to restore, even if it is just practice for a newcomer like me. :) I know that everyone else but me probably knows what happened to it, but me, but... what happened to it? Thank you!

Auctioned, with vast quantities going to scrap. Owner moved some of it to FL where is seems to be an eBay business now.

Thank you- for what it's worth. Such a shame. So many original parts you could use, or practice on.

I spoke with him a couple of weeks ago. He moved to Florida and is going to reopen his business. He is in the process of getting a building put up. Don't think he is going to be up and running any time soon.

If he is setting up shop in Florida, I wonder if he will have to start from scratch if everything was sold/scrapped. Maybe he selected parts to take with him to the new location? Just bouncing ideas around.

If I remember correctly, his business in Florida will be about old phonographs and paraphernalia. I don't think he is planning another huge Model T boneyard!

Mark Freimiller is still selling stuff on Ebay, including Model T parts, look for seller ModelT96.

BTW, Bob Bergstadt also sells on Ebay, his seller name is ModelT2001. :)

Austin

If you haven't already, you should drive over to Loves Park and visit with Bob. Looks like you are only 30 miles away.

I have been to his place a few times, we recently got a new wiring kit through him for a 1923 TT firetruck. Works good!
