Bulb horn Part 3

Hi guys
Ok... so my 1911 bulb horn quit working. I decided to remove it from the car. Now laying on my work bench, it works great!
Good tone and very loud. What is going on??

Stuck reed? Foreign material? Hose leak? Oversize or over length hose? Elfin magic?
