More on rim fit

This is a non-Hayes fixed lug rim on a Hayes felloe. Note the lug stands off the outside face of the felloe just as the Hayes lug does. The rim wedges on the inside land of the felloe as it should. The take home message is fixed lug rims fit on the felloe in the same way, but a zHaues rim needs the relief in the felloe for the foot on the lug.
