As a footnote: The cover of this issue features an octagon barn built by Ernest Clausing. There are a number of these distinctive octagon barns built by Ernest Clausing in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, where I grew up. In fact, I went to grade school and high school with Clausings, who were related / descendants of the barn builder. One of the Clausing barns was 2 miles from where my family lived in Mequon, Wisconsin. In the 1970's the land, on which the barn sat, was redeveloped for a shopping center. Fortunately, there is a happy ending. The barn was dismantled, and relocated to the open air museum: "Old World Wisconsin", in Eagle, Wisconsin.

Interesting read yet again. I’m glad the magazine is available to keep the hobby going.

The VF is a quality production and well worth the price of membership alone. I have hard copies of every issue from Volume 1, Issue #1 1966 to Present. I believe that if the magazine goes, so will the club. Keep up the good work.
