Nice “pencil” drawing…

Post by Chris Bamford » Sun Feb 26, 2023 10:11 pm

A friend in our local club sent me this tonight.

This is our little Winter Be Damned gang last February, NE of Edmonton.

Friend has an app that turns regular photos into these sketch-like illustrations.

Looks like snow on the ground. Must be cold with the top down driving when it is cold. I only drove a T once in snow and that was unexpected in Joshua Tree National Monument in the California desert. That place has extreme temperature shifts. One time when I was much younger , we slept in a tent there in late December. It got pretty cold before we went to bed, so everyone wore their coats and knit hats inside our sleeping bags. Around our heads our breath had turned to frost! Before we went to bed I thought it might freeze during the night, so filled the coffee pot with water. I expected a crust of ice on the pot but in the morning it was solid ice! By 10:00 AM it was warm enough for shirt sleeves! Anyway I think it was about April the year we drove the T's through there and it snowed a bit. I had the top up, but a car in front of me was a Speedster. Brr! Your picture reminds me of that day!

Wow! Cool photo! Also, really nice, vivid color for a 56 year old photo.
