Another great one has gone to race against the others like Humble Howard Genrich on the race track in Heaven. We'll miss you!

Re: Fast Frank Harris #22 RIP
So many that contributed their wisdom and views here have "Gone Touring" as someone called it. It is sad they are no longer with us, but we are all the better for have known them or enjoyed their sharing of knowledge.
Rest in peace Frank.

So sad to hear this. Frank truly was one of the greats. I was never a close friend as our circles were just out of mesh most of the time. But every minute with him on our Endurance Runs was pure golden! My times seeing him when I went to Southern swap meets was also always special.

Re: Fast Frank Harris #22 RIP
I received my electronic copy of the March edition of the Long Beach Model T Club's Magneto News earlier today and read a last-minute addition to the latest issue stating that Frank had passed.
My heart sank as I read the words. I knew that Frank and his wife, Mary have been having health issues in the last few years but, like most of us, you hope that it's something that will pass.
Frank helped me more times than I could count. He was the person that offered to drive me to pick up my newly purchased 1926 Touring. He loaned me his lathe to clean up my New Day Timer I brought back from the Turlock meet. When he found out that I had just been hired as an adjunct part-time professor at the local community college, he was overjoyed. He gave me invaluable advice. Frank was a retired college dean.
I will miss Frank very much. My condolences to Mary, Bill and Cindy, and the rest of the Harris family.
Happy touring Frank. Tell Humble Howard and Ralph Ricks I said "Hi'.

Farewell and Godspeed Frank. Thank you for the many years of posting on the forum, swapmeet conversations, and the advice you gave. Race on, and you will always be remembered as Fast Frank and his blue speedster to me.

I am sorry to learn of Frank's passing. My condolences to his family.
I only met Frank once. He and Humble Howard hand delivered the Rajo BB and assorted parts I bought from Howard. The two gentlemen drove up from southern California to deliver the parts to me in San Jose. Here is a photo of that memorable day. Fast Frank is on the right.

Re: Fast Frank Harris #22 RIP
My Dad will not have a funeral. His remains are being scattered off Catalina Island per his wishes. We have not decided upon a date for a Celebration of Life. The Long Beach Model T Club is talking about a Frank Harris Memorial Drive.
Thank you for the kind wishes, Bill Harris & the Harris Family

Bill .... Thank you for following through on your father's wishes, as he wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I think more important is the way you and your family took care of him and his needs these past months. RIP Fast Frank , your buddy Humble Howard probably has greeted you at the gates.
