Mounting Aermore whistle

For the folks running Aermore whistles, do you point the whistle pipes forward? I can’t find pictures but that seems to make the most sense.

The Aermore whistle on my car was on it when I bought the car. It's pointed towards the rear.

Here are two photos. It looks like it can be installed either way. Your choice. Jim Patrick

I think it depends on how your valve is configured. I suppose you could hook it up so it blows all the time unless you step on the pedal.

Would not matter which way the valve was pointed, the valve would be closed off to the whistle unless actually pulled open.

For some of us that actually drive or have driven in the rain, pointing to the front might help keep the water out of the tubes and might produce a less gurgling sound!
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I've mounted them both ways, and was happiest with the tubes forward.
