Data plate on early Holley carb

Post by RGould1910 » Wed Mar 08, 2023 11:57 am

I have two Holley 4500 carbs for 1911. One has a data or name under the air valve held with small drive pins. The other has no plate or holes for the drive pins. What's with that? Do other early Holley carbs have this difference? The Holleys I've seen for NRSs all have name plates.
Also is anybody reproducing these plates?

Richard I’m a bit foggy on this but the one I had seemed like it had a crescent shaped plate on it. I may be wrong though
