Our 1923 Ford Model T Touring Car "Hazel" - First time taking her camping

Post by jwilliams81 » Fri Apr 14, 2023 12:44 pm

Hello everyone!

My wife and I took our 1923 Model T, Hazel, on her first camping trip last weekend. This was the first of many trips, but I wanted to share it with everyone. The trip ended up being 297 miles over two days, from Cincinnati Ohio to Red River Gorge Kentucky.

Check it out and let me know what you think:

Thanks!

VERY nicely produced, and the music (Coon-Sanders?) is perfectly period correct. I'm not a bit surprised that the car performed flawlessly. I remember how careful you were in buying a good one.

Nicely done. I agree that the written text helps with the story. We are also starting to camp with our T.

Loved the video, but you are supposed to honk the car horn several times while in a tunnel!

Enjoyed the video, especially the written portion, the scenery and your inclusion of major booboo by the builders of the tunnel!!

We actually have a short 11 second video doing just that!
It was taken in portrait and not in landscape layout though.

Thanks for sharing your experience with your camping trip. I really enjoyed the day that I visited you several months and I knew that you are very much into the model t hobby. I learned things I hadn't even thought about.

I hope to meet up with you again. I hope it with our model ts.
