this is the Herb Singe auction. they have a whole lot more than just this, he collected flashlights , must have had about two thousand. the family is keeping some of the cars, 1906 Lozier, a 1903 Curved dash olds that was restored by Herb and documented in popular Mechanics in the mid '50's just to name a few.

Re: Lots of good stuff in this auction
They're discussing this one on AACA also. A lot of talk about how low some of the "estimates" are. I see a Rajo equipped model T engine with a high estimate of $1200? I wish! A bunch of carbide acetylene generators, many with high estimates under $300. Some really nice ones like I have seen sell for over $1000!
One wonders who was doing the estimating?
There is a lot of high end collector stuff coming up in this one. Terry Bond (who also frequents this forum!) is watching it.
It will be interesting to see what happens with this auction.

Re: Lots of good stuff in this auction
The estimates are low as a strategy to get bidders worked up into frenzy and discussing the upcoming auction on the forums. Warm up your wallets and wait for the starting pistol.
