My recent purchase of a 1927 Model TT truck. I have a few questions about the carburetor choke and spray needle. From what I can see it has the later version Holly NH carburetor that has the drain centred on the bowl (T6202) rather than offset drain like the earlier ones, however the spray needle is the 1920-1926 style (T6213). Is there any advantage to changing the spray needle to a swivel/u-joint style?
i also need a new choke rod and I will probably be getting the 32" (T4129-B) choke rod that runs from the carburetor directly to the dash as this model didnt have the priming bell crank.

The 1927 TT trucks were really 1925 TT trucks - at least for the body style. It may be that the carb set up is correct for your truck.

I think you would have a problem changing. The style you have works fine with the fire wall you have. You have a 26- 27 type coil box which had been moved to put the gas tank behind the firewall, but you still have the old style firewall. So if it works don't change it.

Need to see your dash panel, but if your firewall and dash are configured for the combination choke/mixture rod I recommend it, if not, I agree with others to leave what you have alone. You have a lot of mixing and modifications as it stands, and you might want to be cautious opening cans of worms. Of course over time it may be best to put it all back to factory configuration.
