First, I have already got 5 coils back from Brent Mize, that was the magic bullet for making the wife's car run smooth with power. 4 more coils are with him now, so I'll have good ones for the TT, plus one spare that I know is good. But, just like most of you, I like to work on stuff, so I ordered parts from Lang's to do 2 more myself, but there is no way the new caps will fit in the box without removing the glass. With the construction of the modern cap is the glass needed or is it standard practice to just remove it?
Searching this forum I've found a lot of discussion on caps, but no comments on this, thanks, Keith.
