What is this wrench, what used for?

Post by NY John T » Tue Jun 13, 2023 11:50 am

Hi all,
I found this wrench a long time ago when I was looking for the Ford logo on anything. Does anybody know what it's from/ for?
Thanks,
John

It is most likely a tractor wrench.

The wrench was usually supplied with the ford tractors, (8-N, 2-N, 9-N), The measurements were used for setting the adjustments on the plow. That was I was told many years ago and have never heard anything to contradict that information.

Looks like a Ford tractor wrench to me. I have a 54 NAA Ford tractor my Father bought new and I’m pretty sure there were some wrench’s with it. I remember there was one that looked really close to the one shown and it had some I” hash marks up and down on one side. It was marked Ford and years later I assumed it was a gas tank gauge. Over time I misplaced it. I still use the tractor regularly along with the bigger MF and IHC Farmall.

What William said, is also what I have seen, been told.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

It was one of Harry Ferguson ideas.
