Post by Mark Gregush » Mon Jul 24, 2023 6:36 pm

Did the 1913 1914 E&J tail lamp have Ford stamped on the cap?

No. It’ll either have Pat’d 1908 or Model 32.

I don't recall ever seeing a square E and J lamp with a Ford script. Some of the later bun type lamps did have the script. Our wizard lamp restorer who did a lot of work for all sorts of cars, preferred to find E and J lamps because they could be used on a variety of early cars.

Thanks everyone. I have seen the other brands Ford used with "Ford" on the trim cap, so was thinking E&J did as well for those years. I was helping someone and for my own information with a question on Facebook.
