Anyone Have Adjustment Specs For a Stromberg OC-2 Carburetor

Post by BE_ZERO_BE » Mon Sep 04, 2023 8:45 pm

I have a Stromberg OC-2 carb on a Frontenac head.
I have a 19th edition Dykes but it does not specifically cover the OC-2.
It does cover the OS carb which is pretty close.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I drive a Model T ... Microseconds don't matter :D

For every Absolute Model T Fact there are at least three exceptions.

Also, Thanks to Adam Hubacz for sending me some additional information from the Stromberg Manual.

The hard part is getting the economizer set up. If you look at the page of instructions that was linked, it says factory set with no info given. I asked that question here some years back, but do not remember how I titled the question.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Mark G.

Fortunately, Stan Howe worked over this carb before he passed.
I worked with it today and it came down to a small tweak on the main mixture.
I am discovering that this is a lot of carburetor for a four cylinder Model T. !!
