Steve Jelf update from Weiser 12-15-23
Boots on the ground Weiser Idaho update: I called Steve prior to my 1 hour and 20 drive to visit him, when he answered and I told him who I was and that I was a member of the Western Idaho Model T Club, you could hear the excitement in his voice as he perked up. He was excited to have a visitor from the model t world he cherishes so much.
Steve is as sharp as a tack, doing extremely well. The nurses love him and told me he’s is such an interesting individual, and very intelligent. They say, they can listen to his stories all day and just amazed by him.
Steve and I sat and exchanged stories and laughed and really enjoyed our time chatting today. We discussed Model T’s, his home and his plans for the future, etc.
He and I really enjoyed our visit along with a nurse that hung out for a bit with us. He was fun and full of enthusiasm when I was there, we discussed my returning to visit again next week.

Great to hear!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.

Thank you for taking over Joe. As Steve improves you get to aid in that improvement. I know it is probably too cold and too far away for you, but if there is anyone that could bring a T to Weiser, that would be a for sure boost. Maybe take him a carburetor to play with.

Dave, plans in the works, Steve was showing the nurses the picture he said you sent him of his 1915. I gave him the book Ford Model T an enthusiast guide for him to read and enjoy. Next trip, I plan on taking him some Vintage Ford to read. I might drive over tomorrow Sunday afternoon and spend a few hours with him.

Re: Steve Jelf update from Weiser 12-15-23
I read one of Steve's latest posts where he mentions his concern for Shorty. If anyone can manage to send him some up to the moment photos of Shorty, and news of her activities and how she's doing, I think that would be a great tonic for Steve. Were I in his shoes, I'd be very anxious for my critters.
Get a horse !

Zack is taking care of Shorty and the cats. He works near the house, but lives about 20 miles away and has a wife and young child.
