1912 Kelly Unit on Auction today in Indiana

Post by Retro54 » Thu Aug 03, 2023 3:34 pm

Was anyone else watching the 1912 Kelly Unit Model T truck that was up for Auction in Indiana today? Wad bid up to $8500 but no sale. Buyer reserve was more. The family has a 3 generation of ownership. They didn't change a thing on it, but used in in parades, etc. Looked to be pretty original with a May 1912 engine casting number. Hopefully it finds a good home. What a treasure!

Contact info is on the screen shot posted for the auction house, if you have more than $8500 and are interested! I hope to see it in person some day!

And here is a link to the Auction listing. The DAM Auction company uses 3 different internet bidding platforms, so you will see this posted in a few locations. https://www.equipmentfacts.com/listings ... rd-model-t

The claim was it's all original but it had later parts on it. :(
