The first photo, three or four spare tires on the running board? Appears to be a 1913 wide-track touring car with 1914 Illinois license plate.
Fifth photo, early 1926 roadster has several nice accessories on it. Rear view mirror, spotlight, radiator cap, bumper, and what looks like a siren on it? It also has those hub covers and fancy hub caps.

Early cars at least 2 - a front and a rear. Back when tires were generally soft and blow-out prone, sometimes 2 of each.

You only need two to have an insurance policy, provided you have a sensibly equipped Canadian car with 30 x 3.5" tyres all round.

They might need 4. Sixty five years ago my new bride and I took a trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and back in a Model A. I used to get used wheels with the tires mounted on them from the wrecking yard for a dollar or two. We had 3 spares with us because the ones on the car were a bit old and worn. This was the days before the I 15 freeway. The highway was 2 lanes. We saw the Joshua trees and wanted to get a picture by the biggest one we could find. So we went off roading until we found one. We ran over cactus on the way and ended up with 4 flat tires. Of course they didn't happen suddenly, because the cactus was imbedded i the tires and so all the tires were ruined. Had to buy one tire on the way home.

My wife and I took our 1931 Slant Windshield 4 Door Sedan to the Chihuahuan Desert in Big Bend National Park in 1986, pulled off the road for a picture and ended up with two flats and one spare. It was 115F and so hot it took me two hours changing the one tire and repairing the tube on the second flat. Had to rest 5 minutes for every 10 I worked. Luckily I had a bicycle tube patch kit under the front seat. The park was not as popular back then and not one other vehicle passed by. If they had we could have hitched a ride back to the Panther Junction Ranger’s station where we had my truck and trailer. I was worn out and miserable by the time we got back on the road.
