1-man Top replacement instructions

Post by tibbals-tf » Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:12 am

I am trying to help someone put a new top on a 1925 Touring T, but have no detailed instructions. We have the straps installed, but when we tried to do a fit-check of the top, the middle bows collapsed due to its weight. What holds the top from collapsing? Finally, what is the distance from the bottom of the two windows to the body where you tack the the back curtain? Thanks, take care.

You might find these pics from elsewhere on the forum useful.

BTW, this section of the forum is for folks having difficulty with the operation of the forum itself, i.e. posting pictures or logging in. General requests for Model T info can be posted in the General Discussion thread. :)
