1912 commercial roadster

Post by Wayne Mims » Mon Sep 04, 2023 12:13 pm

The 1912 commercial roadster or mother-in-law roadster has a single seat in the back the top does not cover the roadster chair the chair is sort of useless I assume when I said commercial roadster, they expected you to take that off and put a bed on or a box or something does anybody have any pictures of how it been converted? Thank you

I don't have any pictures but considered replacing the rear seat with some railing. Mr. Mari, the fellow who recently made the cast iron stoves for 1912 carburetors, was making very nice looking railing from brass tubing. If you search the net I think you can finds photos of what I'm talking about.
On the other hand, the rear seats are an attractive although perhaps useless feature. Here's a photo of mine.
