John Walter.., IP address comes back Nigeria! Trying to buy one of my cars, typical will pay more crap and check will be in the mail.

How does a scam like that work? He sends you a check, then what? He does not get the car nor does he get any money. What’s the catch? Jim Patrick

It's happening to me. It's not so much the money involved with him and/or you, but the info he gets in the exchange which allows him to possibly hack your accounts! I'm lucky I remembered stories posted on the forum about over pay checks in transactions. Got another one this AM about my other car, so someone is following the forum.
Google "check overpay scam" for explanation.
