Hi Guys,
Over the past year I have picked up 2 Hitachi alternators set up to use on a model T. But did not get much info on them. They appear to be from
the same supplier ( the markings are the same & are marked # 5 & # 6 could be a short run?) The one person told me he did not like it because
it did not put out at low RPM I'm thinking on my speedster that will not be a issue. One came with a 2 wire MOPAR regulator & the other is drilled
& tapped for the same. Has anyone other the the folks I purchased these from used one of them & do they have any recommendations? Please If
you are a anti 12 vdc/generator purest please do not fill the forum up with Bravo-Sierra. You will not change my mind on that, sorry I go with
what I find to be the most reliable for me. I deeply appreciate all of the purists & think the hobby is better because of them! It just doesn't fit
my allotted budget for the hobby.
Thank you all. And isn't it great that Steve Jelf is doing much better.
Craig.
