Nurse said I called at the perfect time. Said "Steve's a bit physically agitated, right now. Maybe you can talk to him and calm him down?"
Steve said he's frustrated. Miffed about missing the OCF and trying to sort out what happened. I told him he could ask me anything. Without going into too much detail, I basically told him he was in an accident in Huntington, IN and was life flighted to Fort Wayne. I think he understands better now.
He's very much looking forward to seeing his brother Mike (I think, tomorrow, according to Brent?)
We had to cut the convo short, but I'll probably call him again in a bit. It appears that when a relative or friend calls, he settles down. I'll try to add more after that call in a comment box under this post.
