Celebrating by bringing my T down to the Piquette Plant to give rides. Got stuck behind this new fangled transportation device.

1908 : The Ford Model T was introduced to the public and was the first car that was affordable and reliable for the ordinary citizen of the United States. Known as the "Tin Lizzie," it was the first car built using mass production methods and had seating for two people. When it was first introduced it cost $850. By the time it was discontinued in 1927, nearly 15,000,000 Model T's had been sold.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Yup. Model T Day for those of us into celebrating obscure dates.
Please correct me if this is mis-information. I believe October 1 is the date Ford Motor Company announced to the public the Model T as their newest (and subsequently only) offering. Also, I think I have read that at least one unit was "pre-sold" prior to the publicized announcement.

October is dear to me as "Model T month". My current Lizzie was delivered on Halloween, 2016. Great fun and new friends for seven years now !
