Frontenac Literature Inquiry
Hey everyone. As the post states, I have some Fronty literature questions. I am in possession of three pieces of Frontenac literature. The first is a twelve page brochure/catalog which offers, seemingly, everything that Frontenac offered at that time. Model T, R, S, and SR heads, body, carburetor, magneto, exhaust components, oil sump, lowering brackets, offset springs, oversize axle shafts, steering components, complete racing cars, prices, etc. One is a four page brochure for cylinder heads for Fords and the attendant benefits thereof, and the third is for speed equipment for Ford, Chevrolet and Overland Whippet Cars. None of them has a copyright date, however, the 12 page catalog is dated April 1,1924 and the Ford brochure makes note of the Fronty Ford performance in the 1923 Indy 500. I've attached the covers of each for your perusal. To me, they look to be original based on the fading and discoloration of the paper. All three have faded/discolored differently. But, what the heck do I know? Do any of you have knowledge as to whether these publications have been reprinted in the past? I would very much appreciate your thoughts. Thank you in advance.
