We have a Stewart spotlight with a convex mirror on the back, attached to our 1926 Touring that is mounted on the windshield driver side post. Does anyone have an original instruction sheet for the wiring? The cloth covered wires are long enough to go to the wire terminal on the firewall but there is no ground at that terminal block. Nor how the wire is routed or secured.
Also is there any vacuum wiper directions to route the lines from the manifold to the wiper?
Thanks for any help. I would like to make these as they were designed.

Re: SPOTLIGHT/WIPER INSTALLATION
If your spot light has it's own switch, rather easy to route the wire (you may have to cut and splice more length) to the dash switch terminals. best place is at the ammeter, wire to the ammeter post to the Bat terminal, that way when the lamp is on, it will show slight discharge on the meter, for awareness of the light being on.
The ground lead place to any metal contact, under a nearby bolt or nut, lots of those around the dash. If no On-Off switch at the light, the drill a hole in the dash for a period on-off push pull switch. Wire the same methods.
Most installs just loop the wires from the spot light over the arm rest along the windshield stanchion going under the dash panel.
For the Ford Accessory Wiper, this older post has pic of the Ford Instructions, and lots of photos of install.

Re: SPOTLIGHT/WIPER INSTALLATION
Model A's have some neat W/S frame clips to hold & route the vacuum wiper hose.
I used them to hold the wiring for dual spot light wiring across the top frame.

Re: SPOTLIGHT/WIPER INSTALLATION
Can you post a picture of your accessory? My Fyrac, through the windshield spotlight, came with a bayonet plug that plugs into the dash light of my ‘26 coupe and could be turned on and off with the dash light switch. Might be a simple way to consider. Just like with my spotlight, you won’t be using your spotlight all the time so it can be unplugged until needed allowing the dash light to be used for its’ intended purpose. Jim Patrick.

Re: SPOTLIGHT/WIPER INSTALLATION
Jim,
Thank you for the suggestions to attach to the dash light, it is a great way to attach and disconnect as the light is needed. Our light does not move off of the mounting and will tilt or swivel only. Your light is more versatile than ours.
Dan,
Your suggestions to attach the wires for the light to the instrument area with the switch wire to show the draw on the bat. makes great sense.
The lines for the vacuum in the pics, show where to route it. As I had no directions, I thought I could use the Model A metal tubing for greater protection but it looks like it would not be period correct. Thanks for the help.
