Any ideas what this is?
Found in a box of goodies. Fits the steering column. No idea what it was used for.

Re: Any ideas what this is?
I assume it is some sort of dash clamp/stabilizer for the steering column.

Steering column stabilizer/dash bracket combo for the 19 and up Model T’s. Another T accessory to add to the long list of Model T accessories.

Here are a few more accessory dash panel clamps. Popular until Ford added the riveted clamp as std. later in 1923.

Re: Any ideas what this is?
I'd like to add to Mike's thread.
From the "What this is?" department
I've been trying to locate in a supposed cache of T parts at a family storage location some headlight parts and a carbide generator. No such luck, but what I did find are the following, please see enclosed pictures, I assume they are brake parts for the 1914 T, but they may also be from a Maxwell project that has departed the fix for greener pastures.

You’re right the top one hanging on the handle is a brake band but the other piece is a dandy acetylene tank holder & maybe a one piece one but not sure. Best John
