I presume they have access to better quality tyres than those that are sold for real T's. If those things are able to be registered for road use, thier tyres would have to meet the required standards.

A real one is cheaper... but you have to know how to drive.
Nice for parades in tunnels, I suppose.
I'd probably put a Wisconsin V-4 in one...

I have seen these in Vienna for the last three years. They are smaller than a real model T. Highly doubt they would survive a crash. They are merely glorified golf carts.

Oh look ! Mack’s $6,300 economy model is made in Guangdong. Buy one and it’ll support a PRC platoon invading Taiwan for a month !!

A 5KW motor would be somewhere in the 4 to 6 HP range, with less at the wheels. Vehicle weight with four persons aboard and enough battery capacity to move at city street speeds and handle even gentle grades would severely tax 5 HP. Range at any speed would be very limited. A pickup style body with a 15 KW quiet Honda type generator aboard and a 200 lb battery would be much more versatile.
That would allow 30 + MPH, good hill climbing ability, good range, and quick "recharge".

Looks to me like a stock T would be much more practical, unless you were operating a taxi service inside a shopping mall.

What is needed is an electric car with a battery that weighs 100 lb or less and is capable of delivering 15 KW for 6 hours or more, and capable of accepting a full charge in 10 minutes or less. Good electric cars have been available for 120 years. A really practical battery is still not available.

The pricing is for "sets". I don't know how many of these golf carts are in a set, but it seems to me as though they are looking for dealers.

Was discussed before viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20526&p=157084&hili ... +t#p157084
$6,600.00 - $7,250.00 in 2018 The company also makes golf carts and what you might call shuttle cars. State & Local Municipalities laws vary on if and where golf carts can be used

Funny you should mention these! I saw one on one of my earlier visits to Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China - it's incredible what they copy over there!

These electric vehicles are sold to resorts and theme parks. I couldn't resist posing in one!!

So it's an EV in the sense that it's an electric vehicle, but it's a Model T... so that means it's an ET?

That actually doesn't look too bad, and even has the front transverse spring. Might have to go down that path when petrol cars are banned/taxed out of being affordable.
