Valve cover on a 26 motor

Valve cover retainers
On the 26 motor did they use bolts or studs to hold the side cover on ?

I believe the bolts have rounded tops like the head bolts & the generator bracket bolts.

Yes, Domed Head, Stainless steel.

I don't believe Ford ever used stainless on T production.

Parts books suggest 1926 were studs & 1927 were nickle head bolts. BUT 1926 could be/were replaced with the later version
