Members of the Long Beach Model T Club were surprised and honored to have Steve Jelf show up at our monthly T club meeting!
Shortly after we learned about Steve's accident we had several discussions about driving our T's and the risks we take especially here in SoCal. We sent our thoughts, prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery. Many months passed and we sometimes heard about updates of his recovery.
I read about Steve staying with his brother in Lomita and thought we have some members that live in Lomita! After a couple of calls it was all arranged!
I hope Steve had a good time and we all certainly enjoyed his presence with us. It's a real warm feeling to see and hear him knowing the journey he has been on...
Steve, we wish you the best on your continued recovery. Don't be in a hurry to leave us here in SoCal. Your welcome again anytime.

I understand sometime this month he wants to go back to Kansas. He really misses his girl Shorty.
