Kinda OT .Auction in Cleveland Oklahoma June 13th

Post by dobro1956 » Mon May 27, 2019 10:14 pm

Since we do not have an "events" forum yet .......

Here is a link to an auction in Cleveland Oklahoma on June 13th by Chupps Auction Co.

I do not see much model T stuff in the photos. Mostly just an assortment of all things old car related. "but" who knows what is in the boxes and what was not in the pics. Some of the best finds I have ever made came from "general parts" types of auctions. I can not make this one because it is during the Petitt Jean Arkansas swap meet that I have never missed in 40 years.

So if anyone goes, have fun and let me know how things were selling ... I promise not to cry too much when you tell me of all the good deals :)

Something about Cleveland. The Carl Davis auctions there were huge. Yvette Vanderbrink ran the first one and Chupps ran the second. I got some good stuff at both, which were all outdoor vehicles and parts. Somehow I missed the third one when they sold the indoor stuff. Too bad this one appears to be all modern (post-27) items. But I may go just in case.
The inevitable often happens.

Steve I thought about you when I posted this.

I do see a few early things scattered thru the pics. But like I said before, I have found some very good things at auctions like this. The auctioneer's do not get pics of everything. That whole are of Oklahoma and southern Kansas has been my favorite place for auctions. The old timers from there kept everything. After all they went thru some of the worst of the dust bowl days ...
