5099-12v Model T WOSP stater

Post by Unprr » Mon Feb 12, 2024 1:56 pm

I would like to hear from members who have purchased and installed the 5099-12v Model T WOSP stater.
How does it perform and if the standard bendix assembly fits.

Thanks

George

I purchased a WOSP starter for my 24 T, from Snyder’s T parts. Installation was easy, works great with no problems with bendix. Only a slight problem with an oil leak ,see my correction in past posts , by looking up WOSP oil correction. I worked with Snyder’s on fixing the issue and I think the company has resolved the problem since then. I would recommend this starter to anyone thinking of moving in that direction.

They have a Bendix that works on the other side of the T ring gear like a modern car, the one I fitted works great.
