My Dad was first cousins to the Brosses in Flint Hill Mo.
This photo was put up on the Flint Hill Historical Society website today.
I thought it would be good to show it here.

That is such a nice sample of that era shop. Plenty going on on the benches and the light from outside pouring in.

Thanks for posting that wonderful photo, Herb ! As Rich says, the old workshops had a certain warmth and charm, generally lacking in today's mostly sterile repair shops.

Many of the tools look to be for woodworking. The offer to clean sparkplugs suggests he can do a variety of types of work.
perhaps it's a small-town shop where versatility pays.
