We have had our '21 Touring since late 2016. While we have owned it we bought, and later sold a '28 A Sport Coupe. We have enjoyed the T, mostly riding to local cruise-ins, parades, and ice cream runs. The Touring runs and drives well, needing the new top we have installed to be pretty much complete.
The non-demountable wheels could use a rebuild but the tires, while being several years old are barely worn, with less than 100 miles accumulated. We're now thinking that we would like a different car, maybe even another Model A. I am thinking about trying to find a trade for something of equal value. I have even looked at a couple of 20s Chevys for sale locally, but they sold quickly and were cash only, no trades.
I believe our T is worth $9000-9500 considering the condition and all the restoration that has been done. I'm trying to figure out what else would be available for about the same money. Although probably not available without adding a little cash, not out of the question, we would love a '28-29 A pickup. We would consider a closed car, coupe or even a sedan. This is not an ad, just telling about our situation. Thanks.

Yes! A 28-29 Model A pickup is a tight fit. I rode in a Model A PU in a Texas A tour several years ago and my wife’s cousin and myself were pretty tight in the front seat. Model T’s and A’s are not real roomy by any means. A 20’s-30’s Dodge or Chevrolet is a bit roomier and a Touring would be better for more people.

We rode our A Sport Coupe quite a bit and were comfortable in it. Rode some folks in the rumble seat a few times. The only time I would haul people in the bed of a truck would be in a parade.
We would love a roadster pick-up but I doubt that we can find one in our price range, although I would consider a project needing work, would just prefer one with most major parts included.
I will not buy or trade for another T with wood, non-demountable wheels unless the price is RIGHT.
