Top for a 12 roadster

Post by RGould1910 » Thu Mar 28, 2024 4:15 pm

Ive been given the name of Scott Henningsen in Salinas to make and install a top for my 12 roadster. Does anyone have any experience with him?
He'll need to shave the bows to fit the sockets and install a rear roll up panel with Murphy style fasteners. Looking for a near show quality top.

Richard G, I have met him, but don't really know him myself. He is well known to the Santa Cruz and Salinas area HCCA people as well as some of the Nickel Age crowd. He has been doing restoration work for a quite a number of years (about thirty years I think?) and his reputation with most of the HCCA crowd is good as far as I have ever heard.
For whatever it is worth, his name gets tossed around quite often and I have never heard a bad word about him.

Richard I forgot to tell you, but I had Scott’s crew upholster a couple cars for me. They came out real nice and I would certainly talk to him. They know old cars.
