Anybody knows a Henry Carter, KY?

Post by dykker5502 » Wed Apr 03, 2024 9:24 am

Hi,
I have a Henry Carter from Madisonville KY, who have ordered (and paid) for a set of refurbished coils on eBay.

Due to shipment costs, I do normally not deal with Model T folks from the US and you do also have lots of alternative US based solutions, but now the payment have come through to me, but he do not react on the messges I've send to him via eBay.

I can't see him as user here, but maybe some of ypou know him?

I need to know his plans and eventually refund the money to him.

Not knowing him and of course how you had him pay, even PayPal can be done internationally, and by far that's the easiest way to refund. Hope that's what you used and didn't think of it that way. Otherwise, good luck

Can't you return his money through eBay? I've done at least partial refunds through eBay.

You must use eBay to do the refund since the money transfers all go trough eBay now. Thy act like a consignment store. Buyer pays them, they take their commission and pay you whats left over. See attachment
Bing up the order then cursor over to "View Order Details"; scroll down to Cancel Order and click on it
You'll get a new screen to add a reason, continue to follow the instructions. When finished eBay will do the refund and ask from where to take your money from (if they are holding money for you in your account since you haven't shipped it, a bank account or credit card).

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Thank you all - I think I have found his phonenumber and want to call him and see what his plans are. Today he may be out looking for the solar eclipse.
