Found washer in bendix.
Found the screw head in the oil drain plug.
Anyone know where they might have come from?
Engine still runs.

Re: Mystery parts
YIKES. That screw is what holds the magnet keeper plate. That means an engine/flywheel pull.
Dont run it until fixed.
If you have a starter, you can remove it(bendix first) & rotate the flywheel to view the magnet/keepers/screws & confirm.
Wont be easy to see behind the field coil. Use a dental mirror. Either way a loose magnet keeper will tear hell out a field coil & can jam up & break magnets. This is very serious.
Maybe you get lucky & its errant parts not found during the last rebuild????
