Re: St. Louis Worlds Fair display
the 1904 St Louis World's Fair was where the Ferris Wheel was on display. Invented by a Minneapolis Man named Gray, Gray turned over the rights to Ferris. Grays son went on to form the Graco Co., a leader in hydraulics. Two auto owners from Minneapolis drove cars to the 1904 fair. I have the origional photos in my collection. I also have a photo showing the Ferris wheel;. I will find them and post them.

Re: St. Louis Worlds Fair display
We had a great time at the event, lots of curious people asking great questions about the cars. I think the most asked was “tell me about the pedals” At least one visitor asked My daughter about her ownership of her ‘23 touring. She enjoyed hearing about how she sometimes drives it to work and running errands. Hailey, encouraged her to buy one as well and join us for the fun.
I was entertained by the visitors who dressed for the occasion, and invited several to have their pictures taken with and in my car.
We had to cut the day short by an hour or so due to rain moving in and we had a 20 mile ride to get back to our starting point. People were surprised that we drove them to the event and even more surprised about driving in the rain. I’m sure my car has been wet several times in its life, what’s one more time!
It was great being invited to help celebrate the 120th anniversary of the St. Louis World Fair.even more so For Hailey and myself since our distant relative, David R. Francis, opened the fair in 1904.
On a side note, our spring tour is approaching quickly. If anyone wants to join us for a drive through Columbia Bottoms and lunch at Sunset Overlook,
Please rsvp by 5/5 so I can get a head count to the restaurant
