A friend has given up finding Rocky Mountain Brake Parts and now is looking for a disk brake set for a 1924 with Wire Wheel Adapters.
Evidently, they do not work either.
Does anyone have them?

You might need to define "wire wheel adapters".
Model A wire wheels?
Dayton?
Buffalo?
Large drum or small?

Birdhaven use to carry Sure Stop Disk brakes have you tried their, I also believe Model T Ranch has a brake set up too. Heck I suppose most of the major suppliers carry them.
Chaffin’s, Lang’s, Snyders but I don’t know for sure if they are out of inventory. A lot of parts that members made are no longer available.

Re: Disk Brakes for a 1924 with Wire Wheel Adapters
Jim, wire wheel adapters bolt over a 6 hole brake drum. The wire wheel thickness should be enough where the hub of the wheel just touches the face of the brake drum. The disc portion of the rear drum is welded in such a manner that the caliper is far enough away from the wood spokes to not have interference. Have you actually tried the wheel adapters to a disc brake drum and mocked-up the wheel to verify clearances??

My friend said Langs did not have any.
Texas T used to have a set to use with the 6 bolt to 5 lug 26 wire wheels adapter on a 1924 or earlier T.
They don't show up now.
This T may only be driven around his 1916 acre farm anyway and the brake shoes are the type with liners, so he don't really need any disk brakes.
