TT frame #?
By now we all know that beginning in December of 1925, engine serial numbers were also stamped on the frame. Does this include trucks too, or only cars?

Re: TT frame #?
TT trucks also, but might have began about a month later?

Because trucks are slower.

Re: TT frame #?
I won't claim to know for certain myself. But a couple years ago there was a discussion on this forum on the subject of Ford beginning to put the matching serial number on the frame as well as the engine. the discussion wandered around both the cars and the trucks.
I don't have a link to it, but as I recall, a few TT owners stressed that several TTs with later December 1925 engine dates were known to not have the number on the frame. A consensus of opinion seemed to be that TTs mostly began getting serial numbers on the frame around January of 1926. Roughly about a month after the cars had. I suspect this may have varied from one assembly plant to another.
For whatever it is worth.
