Starting to install front fenders and all the other front parts and have a bolt set coming from Langs to mount the fender brace to the frame. While test fitting waiting for hardware to arrive, I notice I have three bolt needs. One coming through the frame bracket that has an angled top to it, one coming from that same bracket but straight in from the motor side of the bracket and another bolt needed at the frame bracket that comes in from the front of the car through a hole in the side of the bracket. There is another hole in the bracket drilled directly across from this hole, but it is my understanding that it is because the brace could be mounted on the left or right fender.
So, three bolts needed to attach brace to frame bracket. But, the hardware Lang's offers is a two bolt set. Of my three holes, which ones would take these two bolts and what would I do with the other hole?

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Re: 26/27 Front Fender Brace Bolt Hardware
Lang's reached out and implied that the two bolts they sell in their kit are for the forward facing bolt under the fender and into the front edge of the bracket and through the straight up and down side of the angled frame fender bracket under where the radiator flat nut and spring fit. The third hole on the top side of the angled bracket through the top of the fender is some sort of carriage bolt that they do not offer with this two bolt kit. Wonder why? Is Langs interpretation of the three bolts correct?
Any 26/27 owners out there to take a quick look at the fender mounint?

Re: 26/27 Front Fender Brace Bolt Hardware
Here is a photo of the bolt on the top side of the fender of a 1926, just in the upper right corner of the photo you can see the carriage bolt we were talking about.
I just was not sure if the fender was stamped with a square hole for a conventional carriage bolt or just a standard drilled hole that would require that bolt to have no square underneath the head of the bolt.
It has the same shape dome to it as the hardware that holds the headlight bar onto the fender as well.
Hopefully this answers your question about the bolt on the top. We do have some standard carriage bolt that would work there if you have the square hole in your fender. We do not have any bolts that do not include the square though.

Re: 26/27 Front Fender Brace Bolt Hardware
Forgot I took two original front fenders to Dan Hatch and didn't have them laying around to photograph. Removed replacement bolt I had installed and took pic. Feels like round hole and round hole in frame bracket as well, so no square shouldered bolt. I did have a few slotted button head bolts that look like carriage bolts but do not have square shoulders. Will only tighten as much as friction allows, but it's the correct appearance, I presume.

This earlier post will help. Photo shows accessory Ford bumper bracket using one of the frame bolts to th fender bracket. The top hole is for a large head carriage bolt that fasten the fender, the fender hole is usually worn too by this carriage head bolt, paint the head same as the fender,

Re: 26/27 Front Fender Brace Bolt Hardware
My T is a 1927, and all of the fender brace bolts use square nuts with no cotter pins. It is often wrongly assumed that 1926-7 are all the same. They are not. 1926 does not have a headlight bar, 1927 does.
