I have early real leather diamond tufted seats that have been in good storage for about 80-ninety years in great shape but could use a good product to soften them, what would be the best product, Thanks, Bob.

Don't put anything on leather upholstery that may end up getting on your clothing every time you sit in the car. For example, don't use Neatsfoot oil.

You might try “Chemical Guys SPI 401 16 Vintage Series Leather Conditioner” when you use it if possible wrap the leather in shrink wrap/food wrap so it will absorb into the leather. You should expect to do this several times, it’s dry out over 100 years so be patient.

I have used Pecards Antique leather dressing to very good effect on my 1917 Dodge Brothers original leather upholstery. I researched the subject extensively before treating the leather and one thing that I learned is be very careful about what you put on it as oils like neatsfoot oil may make the leather feel better in the short term it will definitely degrade it long term and eventually destroy it.

I don't know what to use, but I know what NOT to use. Don't use Armor-All on leather!
