1914 Taillight Bracket Picture Needed
Does anyone have a picture of the correct taillight bracket for a 1914? I have a Corcoran taillight that won’t fit the bracket that’s on my car. The light won’t fit because the bracket on the car is too thick. I have a brass “Neverout” license plate adaptor bracket that won’t fit because the bracket on the car is too wide.
Any thoughts? I realize I can modify the bracket on the car but if I have the wrong one altogether I’d rather just find the correct one. Thanks

I have several hanging on the shop wall - I'll attempt to get you a measurement today - our '14 has Brown lamps but same bracket.

You didn't mention whether your car is a touring or roadster. Judging from the photos, it is a touring, which uses an entirely different bracket than a roadster, or runabout. I probably have an extra touring bracket around here.

Sorry, it’s a touring. It’s a 14 model that was made in late 13, if that makes a difference

Re: 1914 Taillight Bracket Picture Needed
Ok based on these pictures that were posted at that link I’m guessing that the 13/14 brackets were machined at the factory for whichever brand of lights that were being used. The taillight that was on the car when I got it was a Brown. The brown lights have an opening in its mounting slot that’s much bigger thickness wise than a Corcoran. The headlights on my car are Corcoran so I’ve gotten Corcoran sidelights and taillight to match all the way around.
I guess my options are to find an original taillight bracket that was made for a Corcoran or machine this one to fit

Would the early 13 bracket be for Tourings and Roadster?
What about later 13?

Here's an extra bracket I have - it's the thinner style.
