If I recall correctly, it was his grandfather that had a Locomobile speedster way back in the day? There are some interesting stories around that.
On another note? A long time ago, I saw photographs of a speedster Ed had before restoring the famous "Number 4" he is well known for today. It looked a lot like this car.

Ahhhh yes, I remember it well. Those are Riversides before they developed their famous tread. good for about 400 miles on the rears due to the unlimited power of that thing. I think we actually reached 63 MPH once!
